Here’s the first edit from our recent Bloody Red Queen (Painting the Roses Red) themed photo shoot.
We did two back-to-back themed shoots on this day, so I still have lots to catch up on.
My girl (Crime of Fashion Hair and Makeup) put lots of hard work into the wardrobe design, as well as hair and makeup. More info later when I post the final story (which will fully explain the theme).
Couldn’t resist sharing the first edit from our recent Golden Egyptian Queen themed photo shoot. Yes, that’s gold body paint!
Just like weddings, ‘belly pics’ are not something I do all the time, but when I do, it needs to be a little different. I couldn’t do this without the hard work of my girl (Crime of Fashion Hair and Makeup), who designed the theme, wardrobe, and did the hair/makeup/body paint.
I’ll go into all the details later when I post the whole story on this fashion-themed-pregnancy shoot.
We’re planning two Road-Trip Photo Shoots between now and June!
OK, the first one won’t be too far of a “road trip” as it’s in Bellevue, but it’s just the same as a road trip for us. Crime of Fashion Hair and Makeup and I will be doing what we love: traveling, meeting new people, and creating some great work!
More details to follow soon, but as much as I’ve been neglecting my website, I had to post something about this right away, so you know I’m still alive!
Here I go reusing old images again (2013 San Francisco). That’s how busy we’ve been.
There’s so much to catch up on, and I haven’t posted in a while, so here’s a quick teaser of a story I’ll be posting soon (many more to come). Just couldn’t wait to share!
Theme: Ethiopian Queen
We had a blast shooting with Lisa. The rest of the story will be coming soon, or you may even be able to find it (and others) first on Crime of Fashion Hair and Makeup.
This was a great show.
Before I begin, I must apologize to all the Steampunk purists out there, because this does not faithfully represent the ‘traditional’ image of Steampunk.
…but I can explain:
Due to a faulty mechanism, our time machine suffered several tremendous malfunctions, and our journey became threaded between multiple time portals.
The results were not at all glamorous.
At some point in the future, a great war between man and machine breaks out. We arrived at a time after the great war had finally ended.
Something happened during the battle. Both man and machine were fused together. Still enemies, but now coexisting as one. Learning how to cope with each other, while surviving on what little remains there were after the war.
Our involuntary journey brought us here, to witness the painful struggle of a new beginning.
We brought some of it back with us on March 23rd 2013.
This is Post Apocalyptic Steampunk.
Memphis with the Crime of Fashion runway models.
We have a big show coming up this weekend, and this will be the largest print at the booth.
Even though I’m not done working on this entire set (because there’s such a great story to go with this theme), I had to post this, just so you know what we’ve been working on. I can’t tell you any more just yet, but it’s going to be great.
If you’re in (or able to get to) the Seattle area this Saturday (March 23rd), please stop by Trinity Nightclub and support my wonderful better-half (Crime of Fashion Hair and Makeup), as she is a featured makeup artist for Seattle RAW Artists’ “Generation” spotlight show at 9pm.
Come see a “fashion crime scene” and a “post-apocalyptic steampunk” fashion runway show.
There will be several other artists as well, displaying their work and performing, so come check it out! Tickets are $25 at the door, but you can get yours for $10 by using this link, and supporting Memphis (Jenny):
Even if you’re not able to make it, you can still buy a ticket using the link above, and support a great cause.
Jenny (Crime of Fashion Hair and Makeup) is being featured this month during Seattle RAW Artists’ “Generation” spotlight show on March 23rd in Seattle.
